The Difference We're Making Now

We're shaping a more inclusive future
in the visual arts and beyond

Autograph creates new opportunities, knowledge and understanding through photography. We champion photography exploring race, identity, representation, human rights and social justice – and the ways images can change how we see ourselves and each other. Here, we'll share the difference our work makes throughout the year.

FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

Autograph has received the entire photographic estate of Jamaican-British photographer Armet Francis into our collection of photography.
The archive will be conserved and researched at Autograph, securing the legacy of an artist who recorded important and diverse narratives of Black British life – and contributing to a more representative photographic canon.
