Seeing Differently: Learning Together Through Photography is a free digital resource that explores how photography can tell stories and how narratives can be shaped by individual perspectives.
Through creative activities and class discussions, the resource invites students to think deeply about how they read photographs and how their interpretation might be similar or different to others depending on their lived experience and identity. It draws on visual literacy and instinct and builds curiosity, creativity and empathy within the classroom.
This event will take place 4-5pm and will include:
• An introduction to the resource by Autograph, including a walk-through of the free online learning resources available.
• Teachers will share examples of how they have used the resource in their school setting.
• Time for Q&A.
This resource is a collaboration with Art UK and connects with Autograph's unique photographic collection available on Art UK.

Autograph is a place to see things differently. Since 1988, we have championed photography that explores issues of race, identity, representation, human rights and social justice, sharing how photographs reflect lived experiences and shape our understanding of ourselves and others.
