Created by artist Katriona Beales, our Family Art Activity Worksheets are bursting with ideas for creative play that can be done at home with common household items and inexpensive art materials.

They were made for Autograph’s Family SEND Art Kits, sent out to families with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). We’ve now made them available as free downloads for everyone to enjoy.

The worksheets are organised by theme, each responding to experiences during lockdown:

• The importance of self-care: download the Time to Care for Yourself worksheet
• Being confined indoors and the desire to connect with nature: download the Outside-in / Inside-out Worksheet
• The limited nature of physical contact in this time of social distancing, and the need to remain tactile and connected to your body: download the Touching Worksheet

The worksheets include activities that only take a few moments, and ideas for extended projects.
